Aussie Angels Nursing Services takes a person centered, evidence-based approach to any services that we provide where the participant, family or their advocate/s is primary to any decisions made.

Aussie Angels Nursing Services exists to work with our participants, their advocates, family members and other service providers as relevant, to provide the services to meet our participants’ needs within the scope of our services.

Respite Care

We support both you and your carer by giving you a break for a short period of time. Aussie Angels is there to give you and your carer the space and time to do things independently. We understand how important it is for a carer to have someone to count on in times of need for example if your carer has an unplanned hospital stay. It can be accessed in your home, out in the community, or in an aged care home.

Travel Assistance

We provide assistance with transport and escorts for your appointments, outings, social trips, school or work, as well as social and community participation. Some NDIS plans may also include the use of taxis or other private transport options, where a participant is not able to travel independently. Aussie Angels Nursing Services is able to provide a wheel-chair accessible van to support our participants who are unable to access public transport.

  • Visit local shopping centres
  • Attend community events, groups or clubs park or library.

Community Participation

  • We provide Support in attending activities events that matter to you such as:
  • Social outings
  • Family gatherings
  • Recreational activities such as shopping, movie events
  • Community events.

Mental health support

Aussie Angels Nursing works with clients to build on their existing strength and develop new skills. We help them develop independence and live life fully. At the pace of the client, we work with the client to ensure that they can access all of their planned components of care. We also help clients build resiliency and handle difficult situations.

Implementing Positive Behaviour Support

Aussie Angels Nursing Services is committed to ensuring that participants with an intellectual or cognitive disability who exhibit behaviour that causes harm are supported appropriately in safe environments, and their rights and needs are recognised.

All Aussie Angels Nursing Services staff workers are expected to follow the strategies as determined in the participant’s Positive Behaviour Support Plan developed by the Specialist Behaviour Support Provider.

Daily Tasks Shared Living/Supported Independent living (SIL)

Supported Independent living (SIL) is a NDIS-funded service we provide where we support you to live as independently as possible while developing your life skills. It is a support service commonly used in shared living arrangements.

  • Emotional support

Development of life skills

Aussie Angels Nursing Services can support you to develop all the essential skills you need to live independently, such as personal hygiene, budgeting, grocery shopping and meal planning. We provide a range of support services to help you live as independently as possible.
